To alter your existing fish dial-up connection number, please follow the instructions below (applies to customers who used a CD to set up a connection to the internet)

Do you have the blue fish icon on your desktop to connect to fish.co.uk? If so, please read the following instructions to change the dial-up connection number to the new surefish pay-as-you-go number.

Fish Internet Connection manager

The blue fish icon on the desktop is a shortcut to Internet Explorer that will utilise the Fish Internet Connection Manager (ICM) to dial-up to the Internet. If you don't have the icon on your desktop, it can also be launched by clicking 'start', 'program files' and 'fish.co.uk'

This will launch your web browser and the Fish Internet Connection Manager pop-up window.

To change the telephone number, click on 'Properties'. You will also need to change your username and password, to the ones supplied to you by email.

and change the number directly in the 'Phone number' field to:

Pay-As-You-Go - 0845 60 40 362
Flat Rate (unmetered) - 0808 9933 542

Now press 'OK'

The ICM shows the status of the connection and once connected saves itself in the tooltray as a small fish.
