All Surefish broadband customers will be contacted and dealt with on an individual basis with the company walking through each stage of the migration, including change of email addresses and connection details.

Pay as you Go dialup

The old dial-up phone number will remain active until October 25. The new dial up number, 0845 487 7954

We would need to work with customers to change their email addresses, but this would be handled by our support team and without any cost to Christian Aid.

Pay Monthly Dial-up

For £12.50 + VAT per month, and no set up charge, Christian Technology will offer unlimited internet access through a dial-up connection. £1.50 per month per connection will go to Christian Aid

As before, everyone who uses the new dial-up phone number (tba) will contribute some of the connection fee to Christian Aid. Details of the new dial-up number are available from Christian Technology or by emailing surefishsupport@christian-aid.org

Broadband

Christian Technology will offer all current Surefish customers one month's free service if they change to Christian Technology.

All ADSL Migrations will be free, all contracts will be for a minimum of 12 months, and not 18 months like other providers.

FREE E-Mail & webmail
All email accounts with active broadband or dial-up services will have anti-spyware and anti-spam included as standard and at no extra cost, along with access to webmail.

Paid for E-Mail & webmail
Christian Technology We will offer full Webmail/IMAP/POP3 including Spam and Virus Filtering for any people wanting to purchase it. The price will be £2 + VAT per month (including 2 email addresses) with 50p going to Christian Aid.

Microsoft Exchange Email
For customers wanting more enhanced email services CHristian Technology can provide Microsoft Exchange based email which includes synchronisation with Outlook and push email.

The current monthly prices are £8.99 + VAT per month for a 1GB mailbox and £9.99 + VAT per month for 2GB. Christian Aid would get 20% revenue from any of these sales.

FREE Web Hosting
We would provide free hosting to any current customers that choose to transfer their service across to us.

Paid for Web Hosting
Christian Technology offers a range of web hosting packages and it will provide Christian Aid a 20% of any sales.

Domain Names
Christian Technology will aim to provide Christian Aid with a revenue share from any domain sales.

Customer Support
All of Christian Technology's support staff are trained and classed as 2nd Level Technicians. They are not ‘fact finders’. They will diagnose and resolve issues that are raised.

Its Technical Support team are also contactable via email and Christian Technology will provide FAQ’s, service status reports and other services.
